The Guide on How to Measure Your Foot

🛠️ Step-by-Step Measurement Guide

1. Prepare Materials

  1. A piece of blank paper larger than your foot
  2. A pen or pencil
  3. A measuring tape
  4. A standard credit card (for photo scale reference)

2. Positioning

  1. Place the paper on a flat, hard surface (avoid carpets).
  2. Stand upright with your full weight evenly distributed on both feet.
  3. For the best accuracy, WEAR THE TYPE OF SOCKS YOU PLAN TO PAIR with these shoes.

3. Trace Your Foot

⚠️ Crucial Angle Check: Hold the pencil completely vertical (at a 90-degree angle) to the paper.

DO NOT tilt or slant the pencil. Keeping it angled pushes the line inward or outward, causing critical errors in your outsole measurements. (See the [O] / [X] illustration on our page).

Keep the pencil snug against your foot and trace the outline.

Repeat this step for both feet, as they are often slightly different in size.

4. Measure Key Dimensions

  • Measure foot length: Stand on a ruler to measure the straight line from the back of your heel to your longest toe (as shown in the video).

  • Measure foot circumference: Wrap a measuring tape around the WIDEST PART of your foot, typically across the ball of the foot (as shown in the video).

  • Measure Instep Circumference: Wrap a measuring tape around the HIGHEST PART of your foot, across the center arch (see the video for reference).

5. Record & Add Notes

  • Always measure and record both feet. We will use the larger dimensions for your bespoke creation.

  • Note any specific details such as high arches, flat feet, bunions, or other unique features that affect shoe fit.
